Does Kaplan support mobile devices?

Yes, some OnDemand and Streaming courses are compatible with mobile devices. Please see the list of supported devices and compatible OnDemand and Streaming courses below.

How do I handle pop-ups?

Pop-up windows need to be enabled in order to launch courses and exams. Pop-up blockers come standard on most browsers, such as Internet Explorer, Chrome and Firefox. Multiple pop-up blockers can be enabled at the same time, causing additional restrictions. Each pop-up blocker must be configured separately.

How do I fix display problems?

Please ensure that you are using the latest version of your browser. Check with your Tech Support Team to see if they have a version optimized for your web browsing experience.

Make sure your display's screen resolution is set to at least 1024 x 768. For detailed information on how to adjust your computer's display settings, please see the links below.

Helpful Hints for Best Display

  • Maximize windows when viewing the course material by left clicking the Maximize button at the top right of the browser window
  • Internet Explorer includes a zoom button (bottom right corner) for changing the text size
  • Get more screen space by toggling the F11 function key located above the number keys at the top of your keyboard

How do I test my audio system?

Make sure that your systems mute option is not checked and that the overall system volume is at least midway high. For detailed information on how to adjust your computer's audio settings, please see the links below.

Once you have access to your computer's audio settings, connect your browser at any website with audio playback. For example, the playback of a standard television color test calibration.

How do I clear my web browser?

It's good practice to periodically delete your browser's cache, as well as clear cookies and browsing history. For detailed information for your specific browser, please see the links below.

Where do I go if I am unable to alter my settings?

Please contact your Manager, Administrator or your Information Technology department to ensure that your computer will allow for these recommendations. There could be a security, firewall, or other issue that needs to be addressed internally.
